If you really knew me...

Hey y'all!

I just read the "If you really knew me" by Life of Lu and she recommended that it is a blogging must, I agree! I love getting to know each and everyone of you by reading your blogs, and I'd love for you to get to know me better by the end of this post.

If you really knew me... You would know that I went to a Performing Arts High School and I was voted (well, I tied with a singer) Best Female Musician in my Senior class, and as a Viola player! How dorky was I?! Not really, I was known as the hottie classical musician :)

If you really knew me... You would know that I am a human Mapsco. I can find my way around most places and have a keen sense of orientation, especially in my beloved home town, Dallas.

If you really knew me... You would know that I used to have a serious crush on Barry Watson of 7th Heaven in middle/high school, then it changed to Mark Wahlberg in college, then Christian Bale after watching American Psycho, and now Jon Hamm...

If you really knew me... You would know I am the 3rd of 6 children in my fam. Now I have 1 sis in law, 2 brothers in law, 3 nieces and 5 nephews, and 1 more nephew on the way...

If you really knew me... You would know that I am an orchestra director at a middle school and I teach the violin, viola, cello, bass, and guitar. This will be my 5th year teaching.

If you really knew me... You would know that I have a major dislike for trust fund babies, and other folk who have lots of money but didn't have to work to get it. FB makes it worse, but hey, what are you gonna do?!

If you really knew me... You would know that I love opening my blogger dashboard and discovering that I have a new follower, or getting a comment in my email inbox, such a cool feeling to know I am connecting with peeps all over the place!

If you really knew me... You would know I met the Mr. 7 years ago, but we only got married 2 years this past June, yes, we waited 5 years!!!

If you really knew me... You would know that I do not have any tattoos, not for me.

Last but not least... If you really knew me, you would know that even though it took me a long time, I am now a believer in Jesus and I try to live my life everyday in a way he would approve of.

Hope you all enjoyed this post and feel like you know me a little better!

Love,
~Mrs. S
