Hi Everyone!
I am relaxing on my couch and wondering how yet another great Valentine's Day has come and gone, and realizing that I had not blogged in a little while!
Let me catch y'all up on what I've been up to the past few weeks.
The month of February calls for orchestra recruiting season, so several of my evenings and Saturdays are reserved for local Middle School fiddle fairs, and it is so great getting kids to sign up for Viola.
Saturday evening, Michelle and I headed out to McKinney square and checked out the local live music scene, this Was Cadillac Room, very fun atmosphere
This past week has been all about Wrigley and a new T-shirt Target has out, it has a picture of my dog with cute glasses, and of course I got myself one and my student!
Last Thursday, my favorite fashion blogger Meredith and I treated ourselves to a night of mani's and Sprinkles cupcakes. We loved the amazing customer service of Nailicious Salon and I even braided my hair, I never get to do that!
There was candy, balloons and Cupcakes!
Meredith looked amazing in her Express sequined skirt, she always goes all out on a cute theme!
Had such a great time, thanks for coming out Meredith!
Afterwards, I met up with my sister and her son for Pizza at Canne Rosso by White Rock Lake. Sebastian got his own cheese pizza, it was delicious!
For Valentine's, we decided on our favorite local French restaurant, Bonnie Ruth's. This place is seriously the best place to eat in Allen. The Mr. had his usual duck, I ordered the penne marsialle (penne with shrimp, calamari, and MUSSELS!) I ate all of it... and then had a delicious slice of red velvet cake, I also ate most of the Mr's Lemon cake
These were the roses I received from the Mr., and the candle on the right is from one of my students, as well as the chocolates :)
All in all, a great Valentine's Day. Next, Z's birthday!
